I developed and executed PR projects for Spark Centre (Durham Region’s brand-new Regional Innovation Centre) as it launched Ignite, a start-up bootcamp and pitch competition for local entrepreneurs.
360 incentives: the case for culture
In 2013, Whitby-based start-up 360 Incentives won the 2nd best workplace in Canada. (In 2014 they came in first place.) In honour of the award and press attention it brought, I worked with Todd Skinner and the 360 marketing team to research and write a book that told the story of their fantastic corporate culture, and the real results it has for their business.
In February 2012 I launched an online publication covering arts, culture, events and reviews of cool things going on in Durham Region. Watch for the re-launch in fall 2014.

The City of Oshawa was ready to produce the 2012 edition of their award-winning brochure. The city is in the midst of an exciting economic transformation, with many sectors maturing at the same time.

The Assignment Blackline Law required some fresh content for their blog. They also had some draft web text written in several different voices that wasn’t quite working. The Results I researched and wrote articles that serve to educate and recruit new clients, and edited existing copy in a smooth, clean voice that reflected their brand.
